Hopkinsville Police Investigating Wednesday Night Multiple Shooting

            Hopkinsville Police have made arrests in connection with the multiple shooting that occurred Wednesday.
            One of the shooting victims, 23 year old Darryl Lee Dobson, was charged with first degree assault.
            During the investigation, charges have also been brought against 29 year old Robert Earl “Meaty Bone” Dobson.  He was arrested on drug related charges.
            The shootings remain under investigation.

            Names of the four victims in the shootings last night in Hopkinsville have been released.
            Hopkinsville Police responded to multiple gunshots that took place at about 6:30pm in the East Second and Vine Street area, as well as East Fourth and Campbell Streets.
            29 year old Robert Earl Jackson, Jr., aka “Meaty Bone”, 23 year old Darryl Lee Dobson, aka “Lil Ron” and 30 year old Teron Renell Mayes, were each shot once in the leg and treated at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
            25 year old Lakisha Andrea McMillian was shot once in the hip and was treated at Jennie Stuart then transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
            The Hopkinsville Police investigation is still ongoing.

            Four people were shot and injured after an incident in Hopkinsville last night.
            Hopkinsville Police say the shooting happened in the area of East Second and South Vine Streets and also in the area of East Fourth and Campbell Streets.  It happened around 6:30pm
            All four victims were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.  Their names and conditions were not yet made available.
            At the time of the release, Hopkinsville Police were still investigating the scenes and interviewing the witnesses.
