Injuries, Arrest in Saturday Crash in Crittenden County
A Marion man was arrested Saturday morning after his involvement in a two vehicle crash in Crittenden County. According to Kentucky State Police, 28 Jared Asbridge of Marion was on Highway 91 and struck a vehicle, driven by 66 year old Rickey Riley, also of Marion. The impact caused Riley’s vehicle to leave the road and overturn. Riley, and his wife, 71 year old Barbara Riley, were air lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for their injuries. Ashbridge fled the scene but was located by Marion Police. He was arrested and charged with first degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, second degree possession of controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid. He is lodged at the Crittenden County Detention Center.
