Bash 6 Rescheduled to March 28
OWENSBORO, KY (February 15, 2010)—After soggy conditions postponed the Bluegrass Bash to the end of March, officials are now moving the Bash event to a one-day event now scheduled for Sunday Afternoon March 28th.
Officials moved the Bash to Sunday to accommodate Paducah International (KY) Raceway’s two-day event on March 26-27th and the Icebreaker weekend at Brownstown, IN.
The ‘Bash’ for UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will now become a one-day event at the Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, Kentucky and be held on Sunday Afternoon March 28, 2010.
On Sunday Afternoon March 28th, the UMP DIRTcar Modifieds will take to the track racing for $3,000 to win / $200 to start in the 6th Annual Bluegrass Bash ‘The Homecoming’. The Modified program will feature a full show of Practice, Single-lap Group Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains and the Feature event.
The Gates will open on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. CST with Hot Laps slated for 12:00 p.m. CST and Time Trials set for 1:00 p.m. CST. Adult General Admission will be $10.00 with children 12 and under admitted free. Pit Passes will be $30.00 The Pre-entry is $80.00 for car and driver (Sunday) and must be post-marked by March 21, 2010. The entry fee at the gate is $100.00 for car and driver (all entries not post-marked by March 15, 2010).
Former winners of the Bluegrass Bash include: Jimmy Owens, Paul Wilmoth Jr., Mike Harrison, Jeff Leka and Kevin Weaver.
