WFMW/WKTG EEO Report 2013-2014

APRIL 1, 2013-MARCH 31, 2014

This report has been prepared so as to comply with section 73.2080(6) of the FCC’s EEO rules.  This report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employee Unit that is comprise of WFMW/WKTG radio stations licensed to Madisonville, Kentucky

During this time period there was one (1) full-time job opening for a sales position.  In addition (1) part-time person had his hours increased to make him full-time.  A full job search, complete with help wanted ads were placed when this person applied for part-time.

For the sales position, a help-wanted ad was placed in the Madisonville Messenger.

Descriptions of Supplemental Outreach Objectives:

1. Co-hosted a job fair at Madisonville Community College.
2.There is a mentoring program to enable station personnel to improve skills to qualify for higher positions.
3.A 30-second commercial is aired three times a week inviting area businesses, groups, and organizations to ask to be contacted when there is a job opening.
4.WFMW and WKTG are identified as an Equal Opportunity Employer every day before major newscasts.

WFMW and WKTG have seven (7) full-time employees.
